Hi y’all, almost a month since I posted.. thanks to those who read old posts,who shared and liked them. A lot has happened and I hope one day I will be able to tell the story.. The stories I have to tell are a lot now 🤦🏽♀️…This I can’t revisit mentally . Things first aid can’t solve .
But, as they say ….we move ⏭⏩
What is first Aid? According to Wikipedia
First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery.
So to say it’s the first thing we do to prevent accidents from getting worse or relief pain.
As the festive seasons have started , chances of getting into minor accidents and certain situations increase such as knife cuts, burns, car accidents,electric shocks..the list goes on and on, as it is also flu season…
And when these happens you have to handle the situation before reaching the hospital or waiting for help to arrive. This is where first aid comes in.
To offer first aid you need the right materials .
The first aid box which are widely available in pharmacies or stores. Contain all things or materials needed for first aid service ..
If you do not have a first box at home. You can improvise and make a first aid cabinet or purse for your home,car and carry on..
Things you will need to make your own first aid box,cabinet or purse
🧚🏽♀️Plaster 🩹🤕
🧚🏽♀️Iodine, methylated spirit or antiseptic 🧴
🧚🏽♀️small scissors ✂️
🧚🏽♀️ A thermometer 🌡
🧚🏽♀️Cotton wool
🧚🏽♀️Pain relievers like paracetamol
🧚🏽♀️Penicillin ointment
🧚🏽♀️Tweezers
🧚🏽♀️Gloves
🧚🏽♀️A flashlight 🔦
